May I thank you all for the Service you provided my late father, Peter in February 2025. I'd also like to thank you for taking care of Dad since, whilst myself and the wider family reached a consensus on where to lay Dad's ashes to rest.
In particular, I'd like to thank Perry in your office, who has been absolutely outstanding both as a representative of Maldon Fields, and a thoroughly decent, empathetic and supportive human being.

Maldon Fields is in a beautiful setting, which offers solace to the bereaved, but it is the personal touch which makes the pain of grieving easier to cope with. You have made a very difficult time easier, your compassion and kindness have been outstanding and I am truly grateful to you.

I wanted to take a moment to express how truly impressed I was with the service, care, and warm welcome provided by you and your team on Friday 16th January.
I would like to personally commend Zoe. She is an absolute credit to both your company and Maldon Fields Crematorium. In my 14 years within this profession, I have never come across someone so genuinely kind, caring, and approachable. Not only is she outstanding professionally, but the way she conducts herself with families is truly heartwarming to witness.
The office staff were also lovely, kindly inviting us to use the tea facilities, which was greatly appreciated. The overall look and feel of the crematorium is beautiful, and the waiting room felt warm, calm, and welcoming.
Listening to comments from residents and family members throughout the day was particularly touching; many expressed that they would now choose Maldon Fields Crematorium for their own services or those of their families. That speaks volumes about the care and environment you provide.
The day was especially meaningful for me as it was my best friend’s grandad’s funeral, and we had travelled from Bedfordshire to attend. I am truly grateful that Maldon Fields Crematorium was our crematorium of choice, and it made the day more special.
You should all be incredibly proud of the work you do and the service you provide to the families of Chelmsford.

As funeral directors based in Bedfordshire, we recently used Maldon Fields Crematorium for a family who lived locally, and I honestly cannot speak highly enough of the experience.
The grounds are absolutely beautiful set in a picturesque location, immaculately maintained, with ample parking. The chapel and waiting room are calm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed, creating a truly peaceful environment for families at such a difficult time.
The staff were exceptional: kind, caring, and incredibly supportive throughout. A special mention must go to Zoe in the chapel, who was so welcoming and calm her presence made a real difference on the day.
Everyone who attended the service commented on how lovely the crematorium is, with several saying they would wish to use Maldon Fields for their own family when the time comes.
As a funeral director, I visit many crematoriums, but I have never felt so genuinely welcomed and supported by an entire team. I was truly blown away by them all. Thank you to everyone at Maldon Fields for the care and compassion you show to families and professionals alike.

You always go above and beyond, I love that you always have some gathering music and never play the Exit Song twice, there is always some gentle music in the background which is thoughtful and brings the service to a final close, which I think helps families to make that last journey of saying goodbye to their loved one.

Hi Nicola,
I just wanted to thank you for the incredible Christmas service you put on last night.
I’m so very glad I came. I found it a mix of weird being back with you but also quite comforting. It brought back so many emotions that I thought I was dealing with. My overriding feelings of the night was that it hit the right balance of religious (which I’m not) and humanist. The readings were perfect. Everyone was lovely. The lighting of the candles was very emotional.
I thought it was so very well thought out and delivered in every way.

We chose Maldon Fields based on positive response and recommendation from friends. Yesterday we celebrated the wonderful life of my wife. The wide open spaces and distant fields of mother nature captivate you as you drive on the approach road to the Chapel, which in itself encapsulates and relaxes to relieve the pressure and sadness of losing a loved one. The friendliness of the staff and peace and quiet is the ideal location for celebrating the life of a loved one.
Maldon Fields should be at the top of the list for Crematorium selection and Celebration of life.
Highly recommended.

I it seems incredible that it is almost a week since the Services for my wife.
However, I must write to thank you for your compassion and professionalism on the day. This made a hard time go smoothly.
A number of those present, including me and my family commented upon the graceful, minimalist, modern design with seats (rather than pews) all of which facilitated the warm personal service that we wanted.
